AN INJURED man was trapped in his car after it careered off a busy dual carriageway and rolled over.

The accident happened shortly after 10am on Tuesday on the Wainscott Bypass near Rochester.

Police closed the road while crews from Kent Fire and Rescue Service cut the roof off the car.

The man was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital at Gillingham with a suspected neck injury. Police said the road was reopened shortly before 12.30pm.
