Distressed woman found

A distressed woman seen wandering in Ashford last night has been found.

Ashford PCSO’s Nikki Relf and Selina Lawrence realised, as they were being briefed this morning, that they knew the woman, who was found at home address.

“As soon as we were given a description of the lady, we were 99.9 per cent sure of who it was.” said PCSO Relf.

“We knew the family well from when they had lived on our beat in Kennington, and visited a relative who was able to confirm this.

"Once we had her new address we let patrols know, and they found her at home and safe.”
