Delays as cars crash on M2

DRIVERS were left stranded for about 90 minutes today after two vehicles were involved in an accident just past the Stockbury Roundabout on the M2 going coast bound.

A Ford Mondeo and Vauxhall Carlton were involved in the incident shortly before 10am. Police, ambulance and the fire brigade attended.

It is thought that no one was seriously hurt.

The road was closed while the emergency services cleared the debris. It was re-opened at around 11.30am.
