Deep concern for missing pensioner

POLICE are growing very concerned for the welfare of a 75-year-old woman who went missing in Saltwood, near Hythe.

Elizabeth Degardon was wearing only green trousers, trainers and a pink jumper and went missing from the Bartholemew Lane area of Saltwood at around 12.30 pm on Friday.

She suffers from Parkinson’s Disease and police are worried that she will be cold and hungry.

Residents in the area are being asked to check their gardens and motorists are being asked to be on the look out to see if they can see the lady.

If anyone does find her, they are asked to contact Kent Police.
