Dartford took the bragging rights in Blue Square Bet South with a 3-1 win over Dover on Saturday.

A crowd of 1,558 saw goals from Adam Green, Ryan Hayes and Elliot Bradbrook claim the points for the Darts, who sit third in the table, three points behind second-placed Welling and nine points off leaders Woking with a game in hand.

Dover, however, have now lost their last four matches and sit three points off the play-off places in eighth spot.

Dartford got off to the best possible start when Olly Schulz tripped in the box and Green tucked away the seventh-minute penalty.

But Dover got back on level terms after minutes when Barry Cogan's free-kick was headed in by Agustin Battipiedi.

Dartford regained the lead just after the hour mark when Hayes' excellent free-kick was deflected past keeper Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz.

Dover, who released utility man Sam Cutler on Friday, lost their way once behind for a second time and struggled to get many moves together.

Billy Bricknell and Harry Baker replaced Glen Southam and George Purcell respectively but Whites still failed to force keeper Louis Wells into serious action.

A wonderful strike from skipper Bradbrook, curling home a superb goal, wrapped up the points with two minutes left as Darts registered a deserved win.
