A young man has been charged with arson after a fire at a block of flats.

Danny Chantler, 20, of Wellingtonia Way, Edenbridge, has been bailed to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, May 15.

Two people had to be taken to hospital after the blaze in Wellingtonia Way, Edenbridge.

It happened shortly before midnight on Sunday.

Two men had to be evacuated and were taken to The Tunbridge Wells Hospital, in Pembury, to be treated for smoke inhalation.
