Dancers follow in Kylie's footsteps

Keen dancers from all over the Island were lucky enough to take part in a workshop put on by Kylie Minogue’s choreographer.

Razzamataz Theatre School hosted the event at Minster College on Monday.

Tim Noble has choreographed many of the pop superstar’s tours and videos and worked on musicals Starlight Express and Grease.

Students started the session with a basic combination which Tim said was to “switch on their dance brains”.

This was followed by learning a full routine to a piece of pop music.

At the end of the day, parents were invited to come and watch a presentation and all the students were given a certificate of achievement.

Mandy Russell, principal of Razzamataz, said: “Tim was fantastic with the children and they were all so star struck by him.

“He gave them his full attention and allowed them to ask as many questions as they liked.

“The kids grilled him about all the pop stars he’s worked with, his life as a professional dancer and, of course, about Kylie.”
