A 46-year-old cyclist from Herne Bay, who was injured in a collision with a bus on Monday morning, is in a comfortable condition in the Kings College Hospital, London.

He was airlifted there following the crash in Canterbury Road, Herne, at 8am.

The driver of the double decker was not injured nor was the sole passenger on board.

The road was closed for four hours.
