Dozens of teenagers have gathered at a town park to remember tragic teenager Kyle Coen.

The 14-year-old died on Monday night after being knocked off his bike by a hit-and-run driver.

He was on his way to see girlfriend Donna Clarke when the incident happened outside Bapchild Cricket Club.

Moments later they gathered in a circle, with Donna in the centre, before releasing them in to the air and shouting ‘Kyle’.

The last one to be released was Donna’s red heart-shaped balloon with a photo of her and her sweetheart attached to it.

Kyle’s mum is believed to have watched the vigil from a distance. His form tutor Sally Hills was also in attendance.

A 27-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man, arrested in connection with the incident, have been released on bail. They will return to a Kent police station at a later date.
