A DRIVER and a front seat passenger have been treated for suspected spinal injuries after a three-car crash.

The accident happened on Saturday at about 12.15pm at the roundabout linking Fossington Way and Walderslade Woods, in Medway, with junction 3 of the M2.

Fire crews spent an hour at the scene cutting the roof off one of the vehicles to reach the two injured people.

None of the injuries is believed to be life-threatening.

Two young children and another adult, who sat in the back of the car, escaped unharmed.

The occupants of the other vehicles, which included a blue Subaru, suffered shock, but did not require further treatment.
