Crash motorist dies - police hunt van driver

A 39-year old man who was driving a car when it overturned in Kent has died in hospital, police have revealed.

The man was thrown from his silver Peugeot 206 in the incident near a roundabout at Ropers Lane/Ratcliffe Highway, Hoo.

He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital where he was treated for serious head injuries. He died a week later.

Police want to trace the driver of a white van, who they believe may have been a woman, travelling in the opposite direction around the time of the crash, which happened at 4.40pm on Friday, May 16.
