Miracle crash survivor Richard Plummer has told of his joy at being able to walk down the aisle today.

The 32-year-old is due to marry his girlfriend Indri later.

But the ceremony comes just months after he was left for dead by a roadside in Indonesia after a motorbike crash.

Left in a coma with severe head injuries last July, there were fears that Richard would never walk again.

But he fought back from the brink and will now walk down the aisle at Holy Trinity Church in Coxheath.

The Maidstone man had been living in Bali at the time but crashed while uninsured - sparking a campaign to raise £80,000 for his flight home.

In February, his girlfriend Indria Arina, who is from Indonesia, gave birth to a baby girl.

The couple named her Tiana after the Australian woman who found Richard following the crash and called his parents and girlfriend.

Now he has told how his little daughter has been the inspiration to push him through to the big day.

He said: "I am over the moon at getting married.

"When I think of Tiana - that little girl has helped me get to this stage. She's striking on and given me the will - and Indria - and getting married is a big step forward."

He said he didn't have words to thank his parents for raising the cash to bring him home, and also thanked all the others who had helped.

But he was particularly looking forward to walking down the aisle.

He said: "There's going to be a lot of people and and I want to show people how far I've come.

"I will do my best. I want to impress everyone walking down the aisle with my new wife."
