Coin thrown from car hits woman in face

A 29-year-old woman pedestrian was struck in the face by a coin thrown from a passing car.

The woman was with her partner and two friends in High Street, Sittingbourne, when the incident happened sometime between 11.10pm and 11.32pm on Thursday, September 7. She suffered a small cut and swelling to her eye.

It is thought the car may have been a silver hatchback, possibly a Citeron Saxo or Peugeot 106. Police are now viewing CCTV to see of they can trace the vehicle.
