Lack of special needs places at Abbey Court School

Parents in Medway say their children are being discriminated against after their school announced there wouldn't be enough places for youngsters with special needs.

A campaign has been launched for more funding for secondary provision at Abbey Court School in Rochester after plans were scrapped by the council to expand it.

But despite the row Medway Council denies there is a shortage at the school and therefore it is not a priority to seek additional government funding.
