Charlton will host AFC Bournemouth on the opening day of the npower League 1 season for the second year in a row.

The Addicks were 1-0 winners on the first day of last season thanks to Akpo Sodje's first-half goal, although they did have to play with 10 men for the final half-hour following Jose Semedo's red card.

Charlton travel to Notts County on August 13 and then Colchester three days later. It will be a long Boxing Day trip to Yeovil for the Addicks, a derby at Leyton Orient on New Year's Eve and a home clash with Brentford on January 2.

Chris Powell's men end their campaign with a trip to Preston on April 28 followed by a home game with Hartlepool on the final day - also for the second successive season - on May 5.
