Two late goals secured the points for Charlton in their home game against Peterborough on Tuesday night.

Ricardo Fuller broke the deadlock with 13 minutes remaining - letting rip from 25 yards.

Fuller’s joy was shortlived as the motion of the strike caused him to pull his hamstring and he hobbled off injured.

But it was a goal that gave Charlton the platform to go on and see off the Championship basement side.

With five minutes remaining the points were secured when Danny Green’s cross was turned into the net by Yann Kermorgant.

Prior to Fuller’s strike Peterborough had threatened Charlton’s unbeaten run, which now stands at five games.
