Police want anyone who recognises this man to contact them

POLICE have released this image of a man they want to speak to in connection with two petrol thefts.

It is reported that on two occasions around £35 worth of petrol was stolen from service stations in Medway.

The incidents took place at Total, Maidstone Road, Rochester, on October 22 last year and Morrisons, Knight Road, Strood eight days later.

The suspect is described as white, aged between 18 and 23, of slim build and around 5ft 9ins tall. He had short, dark-brown hair and wore a black hooded top and dark trousers. He was driving a white Rover.

Det Sgt Adam Marshall, who said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to identify this man so we can interview him in connection with these crimes."
