Icy roads have been blamed for separate incidents that saw two cars career off roads in the Chestfield area this morning.
At a little before 6am a car ended up in a ditch off Molehill Road towards the Chestfield end.
An hour-and-a-half later and less than a mile away a car skidded off Thornden Wood Road near Tyler Hill and hit a tree.
Both drivers were shaken but escaped serious injury, and each one blamed the icy conditions.
