Caring Kent 2017: A social care newspaper supplement produced by the KM Group with support from KCC

There are 1.52 million people living in Kent and most of these residents will need some form of health care at some point in their lives.

Our new supplement - Caring Kent - is dedicated to recognising the work that goes into providing services for the county’s people and showcases some of the experiences its users have had.

Designed to be informative, yet interesting, the supplement provided by the KM Media Group and supported by Kent County Council celebrates the people behind the scenes.

Across the UK there are 6.5 million people caring unpaid for an ill, frail or disabled family member or friend

There are carers all around even if that’s not a person’s dedicated job title, there is always someone who has a relative or friend who needs that extra support.

The topic has areas of light and shade - especially with the constant publicity given to the cuts that are made to the care sector.

Coming out in KM Group newspapers on the week beginning Monday, February 20, Caring Kent will be telling the everyday stories of the people and organisations delivering care across our county.

Caring Kent will be available in these newspapers...
