Car ends up in field

This was the scene off the A26 after a car came off the road and stopped in a field. Police were called to the accident just before 8pm on Tuesday, December 30, on the A26 between Tonbridge and Hadlow, near Ashes Lane.

A blue Peugeot 306 left the road and went through a hedge, coming to a stop in a field.

A police spokesman said they did not have any information on what happened to the driver, but added that a male passenger suffered minor injuries and was treated by ambulance crews at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved.
