A double-decker bus carrying schoolchildren caught fire in the Riverhill area of Sevenoaks.

Police were called just after 4.15pm on Friday, to the engine blaze near the White Hart pub.

None of the schoolchildren, from the Tonbridge area, was injured.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident. No other vehicle was involved.
