Forty firefighters battled a blaze in a derelict building in Tonbridge overnight.

Kent Fire and Rescue say 85 per cent of the building in Quarry Hill Road was damaged by the fire, which was reported at 1.45am.

Six crews together with specialist appliances arrived at the scene to find the first and second floors of the building well alight.

They were there for four hours before eventually leaving at 6.20am.

There are no reports of any injuries.
