The 25-year-old man was injured on a building site in Marshall Road, Gillingham, and fell into a small ditch.

Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service treated the patient on the scene and the Kent Air Ambulance (KAA) was scrambled at 12.15pm on Saturday because he was not fully conscious.

By the time the air crew arrived, a spokesman for the KAA said the casualty was starting to recover so he was taken to Gillingham's Medway Maritime Hospital by land ambulance instead.
