Actors, actresses, singers and dancers are invited to step along to auditions for the musical Twenty Twenty Seven from October 13-15 in Cliftonville.

Auditions for actors and actresses will take place on Monday and Tuesday, October 13 and 14 and for dancers on Wednesday, October 15.

They will take place upstairs in the function rooms of Ye Olde Charles Inn in Northdown Road from 7pm.

The production, the work of Thanet brothers Glenn and Heath Woodward, will be staged from February 3 to 7 at Ramsgate’s Granville Theatre.

It follows performances at Canterbury’s Gulbenkian Theatre this summer.

The show is the result of a two-year collaboration by the Woodwards.

It has been co-written and produced by Margate songwriter Heath who has composed all 21 tunes for the production.

Glenn, from Ramsgate, co-wrote the show and is its director.

It is based on an original idea by Heath and begins in the year 2027.

A storyteller has a chance meeting with a young, impressionable girl and relates the saga of a group of friends, taken on a journey 25 years into the past by an eccentric time traveller.

This voyager Professor Mackenzie stops at nothing to recover lost love Eleanor Valentine and the tale has sinister twist.
