A three-year-old boy has been taken to hospital with head injuries after falling at the Ashford Designer Outlet.

An air ambulance, two ambulances and a police car were called to the shopping centre yesterday afternoon.

It is believed a member of the public raised the alarm as the toddler had become separated from his parents.

It appears the boy had fallen and hit his head after climbing on play equipment.

The air ambulance landed in the car park at 3.40pm and treated the boy for what are described as minor head injuries.

Once the boy was reunited with his parents he was taken to the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford, by ambulance.
