A man wanted for the murder of an African student in Dublin was found hanged in Higham, it's been revealed.

The suspect's body was discovered in an orchard next to Crutches Lane at about 9am yesterday by a dog walker.

It is understood the Zimbabwean national fled the Irish Republic after Rudo Maware was found in a travel bag on Sunday.

The hanged man is yet to be formally identified and his family are still to be informed.

However, he has been named locally in Ireland as Jason Dube, who also went by the name of Jasper Taruvinga.

Kent Police are working with The Garda in the Republic of Ireland in a bid to confirm it is the same man wanted for the Irish death.

The body of 26-year-old Rudo was found by a passer-by in Dublin on Sunday morning.
