Bob Dylan and Peter Gabriel have been unveiled as headline acts in this year's Hop Farm Music Festival.

The heavyweights join rockers Suede, Primal Scream and singer-songwriter Damien Rice in the initial line-up.

Also on the bill are Maximo Park, Billy Ocean, Joan Armatrading and The Stranglers.

The event, running from Friday, June 29 to Sunday, July 1, will have four music stages this year, including a comedy stage.

The festival, which last year saw legendary rocker Prince take to the stage alongside Morrissey and the Eagles, is promising a bigger and better event this year.

Organiser Vince Power said: "I am really happy to announce the line-up for Hop Farm 2012. After last year's success it’s my opinion that Hop Farm is now well and truly on the UK festival map.

"Furthermore we have tried to make it the best value festival ticket by having no hidden charges or added extras."

The full line-up announced so far are:
Bob Dylan, Peter Gabriel and the New Blood Orchestra, Suede, Damien Rice, Primal Scream, My Morning Jacket, Maximo Park, Patti Smith and Her Band, The Stranglers, Dr John and the Lower 911, Joan Armatrading, Billy Ocean, The Psychedelic Furs, Lainne La Hfavas, The Jezabels, Slow Club, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Frightened Rabbit, Tom Vek, White Denim, Ben Kweller, Lucy Rose, Fin, Dog is Dead, Race Horses, Steve Smyth, Sian Sanderson and Ligers.
