If you have the summertime blues,

the cure awaits at the Broadstairs Pavilion on Saturday, August 15.

Following on from the very successful weekend in February, Broadstairs Blues Bash returns when doors open at 8pm for the Danny Giles band, who recently appeared at the West Coast bar in Margate.

Organiser Nigel Feist said: "They are the hardest hitting blues rock band to emerge over the last two decades, a classic power trio that capture the spirit of Jimi Hendrix, Cream and Stevie Ray Vaughan along with a whole new energy. Headlining are Broken Biscuit who recently thrilled fans at Ramsgate Rocks Music festival, playing a mixture of high spirited rhythm and blues."

Tickets are £10 and on sale now from the Pavilion. The following day from midday there will be a four-hour blues jam hosted by Wired, a collective of local musicians. All are welcome to watch or play, pick or grin. For more information, visitwww.broadstairsbluesbash.com
