A motorcyclist has been killed after his bike was involved in a crash with van.

Police were called to the scene in Three Elm Lane, Golden Green, near Tonbridge at 8.15pm on Monday.

Officers said a Triumph motorbike and a white Vauxhall Movano van had crashed.

The motorcyclist, from the Tonbridge area, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "The man's family has been told of the incident and the coroner's officer notified.

"No further details of the deceased are being released at this time.

"The road was closed while emergency services, including members of Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, dealt with the incident and reopened around 4.45am."
