A motorcyclist was injured in a seven-vehicle crash on the A2 during this morning's rush-hour.

The rider was left lying in the road after the pile-up with six cars near Cobham at about 7.45am.

Traffic was brought to a standstill until the scene - on the London-bound carriageway - could be cleared.

But one lane was kept closed to enable the ambulance to reach the rider.

No information is yet available about the biker's injuries.
