Bike crash teenager fights for life

AN 18-year-old man is fighting for his life in hospital today after he and another young man were injured in a crash.

The incident happened at 1am on the A228 Snodland bypass, near the junction with Holborough Road. The two men, both from Snodland, were on a a small, blue Honda motorcycle when they crashed shortly after joining the dual carriageway.

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the incident. One of the men was seriously injured and has been transferred to a London Hospital. His injuries are described as life-threatening.

The other man, also 18, suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. Police are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who saw the men on the motorcycle in Holborough Road or High Street, Snodland.
