FOOTBALL rivalry has taken on a whole new meaning for one family in Medway.

Tensions between the Fensome family, from Borstal, near Rochester, have reached fever pitch as mother Alison and her son Henry wait to see who will win Saturday's FA Cup final.

Lifelong Southampton fan Alison is so convinced the Saints will win that she has turned her house into a shrine to her favourite team.

But Henry, 11, is a devout Arsenal supporter and has also decorated his bedroom from top to bottom in Gunners' posters and flags.

Alison said talk of the big match dominates every conversation.

"It's all we ever talk about," she said. "My husband Gavin jokes about it. We've got flags hanging outside the windows and we are always in our shirts."

Gavin has decided to stay on the sidelines of the great football debate.
