Big Brother star set for Swale panto

It has been announced that Paul Ferguson, Bubble from Big Brother, will make a welcome return to the cast of this year’s Swale pantomime 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’.

He was last in the cast two years ago when he played the scarecrow in the Easter hit show Wizard of Oz.

The ever-popular Londoner and Chelsea fan was a massive hit on the Channel 4 reality show and will be coming to The Swallows leisure centre in Sittingbourne next month to play the comedy role of 'Harry the Henchman’- the Wicked Queen’s servant.

The panto already boasts such star names as CBBC presenter Ben Hanson Bouncer from Tracy Beaker, as Muddles the Jester and Briony Price, How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria, finalist as Snow White.

Managing director Gary Telfer said: “Paul Ferguson or 'Bubble’ is a brilliant comedy performer. He’s acted all over the country in many pantomimes to rave reviews, so for us to secure him and the other stars for this year’s Swale pantomime is fantastic news for the area.

“This is our 7th year and we promise a bigger production than ever before. We are really excited because it’s going to be the most amazing show ever staged in Swale.

“We started the pantomime seven years ago from nothing and now we have more than 10,000 people attending every year. Swale is now firmly on the map for their Christmas pantomime and the people of the borough are great audiences - we always look forward to our shows here.”

New World Productions will be bringing 30 action-packed performances of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to the Swallows from December 12th 28. They are spending tens of thousands of pounds to ensure the pantomime will be a spectacular family production, bringing together a top cast, amazing costumes, fantastic dance routines and plenty of popular songs to please all ages.

Jay Jenkins, Swallows manager, said:"This is fantastic news for the whole of Swale. The pantomime has been such a huge success over the years and we are delighted to be staging Kent’s number one Christmas event again this December."
