A two-month old baby boy was rushed to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Kent Air Ambulance were called to an address in Invicta Road, Sheerness, at 9.35am today.

The emergency helicopter landed on Sheerness beach where it was met by land ambulance crews and assisted in the treatment of the baby.

He was flown to Medway Maritime Hospital for treatment.

His condition is not known.
