The Archbishop of Canterbury has signed an open letter calling on the Government to help a refugee charity threatened with closure.

The Refugee and Migrant Justice which has offices in Dover and Ashford provides legal advice, but has been affected by delays in payment for legal work it has done.

Rowan Williams signed the letter, addressed to Home Secretary Theresa May and Justice Secretary Kenneth Clarke, which states it would be "a tragedy" if the charity were closed.
