Appeal after young man dies in crash

KENT Police have renewed their appeal for information following the death of a young man in a crash on the A20.

The man, in his 20s, was driving on the London-bound carriageway of the road at Capel-le-Ferne, near Folkestone, on Friday night in dense fog when he lost control of his car and hit a lorry parked in a layby.

Fire and ambulance crews attempted to resuscitate the man who had extensive head injuries, but he later died at Ashford's William Harvey Hospital.

The coroner has been informed and an inquest will be held.
