Appeal after gang attack on playing field

A YOUNG man was assaulted and robbed by a group of men on a Kent playing field while he was walking home.

The attack happened on the Jackson playing field at Rochester.

The 21-year-old victim was on his way back from the train station when he was approached by the gang.

He suffered a swollen jaw and cuts to his face in the assault and also had his mobile phone and iPod stolen.
