Appeal after cars are set ablaze

POLICE are appealing for information after arsonists set fire to cars outside a garage in Doddington, near Sittingbourne.

The blaze caused £10,000 damage to a BMW and £2,000 of damage to a Peugeot, as well as causing hundreds of pounds worth of damage to another BMW and a Rover.

The incident happened on Saturday night. Firefighters managed to stop the blaze before it spread to heating fuel and gas cylinders stored behind the garage in The Street.
