POLICE in West Kent have released a CCTV image of a young man they would like to talk to in connection with an alleged assault in a store.

The incident happened at the Spar Shop in Westerham Green, Westerham, near Sevenoaks, on Friday, May 26, between 7.40 and 7.45pm.

Police spokeswoman Anne McCarthy said: "It appears that an altercation took place over the purchase of alcohol and as a result a member of staff suffered bruising.

"The boy is described as white, aged around 15, 5ft 1in tall, with dark brown, cropped hair. He was wearing a dark coloured hooded top."
