Ex-Kent MP Ann Widdecombe has told how she wasn't ready to be booted off Strictly.

The former backbencher for Maidstone and the Weald said she had been looking forward to the semi-final dance off in the hit BBC show this Saturday.

Speaking exclusively to kmfm, she said she was looking forward to going on tour with judge Craig Revell Horwood until next February, but then would be hanging up her dancing shoes.

But the sticks and stones of judges' criticisms didn't hurt her, she added.

However, the Tory stalwart insisted she hadn't been on a 'journey'.
