£53m Securitas heist suspect refused bail

A WOMAN charged in connection with the £53million raid at the Securitas depot in Tonbridge has been denied bail.

Kim Shackleton, 38, of Allen Street, Maidstone, was remanded in custody to reappear at Crown Court on June 12.

John Fowler, 60, of Elderden Farm, Chart Hills Road, Staplehurst, 33-year-old Lea Rusha of Lambersart Close, Tunbridge Wells, Stuart Royle, 47, of Allen Street in Maidstone and 24-year-old Jetmir Bucpapa of Hadlow Road, Tonbridge, are also due to appear in Crown Court on the same date.

They are accused of a mixture of charges including conspiracy to rob, kidnap and handling.

All five are expected to enter pleas on June 12.
