2 dead after head-on crash horror

KENT Police are investigating the circumstances of a head-on road crash in which two men died.

The emergency services were called to the A259 near Brenzett on the Romney Marsh at about 11pm on Friday night after a blue Ford Ka and red Ford Mondeo collided.

The two male drivers died at the scene. One was aged 19 and the other 42. They were cut free by firefighters.

Two male teenagers in the Mondeo were taken to the William Harvey Hospital at Ashford suffering from minor injuries.

The road was closed for a number of hours for specialist police teams to take detailed analysis of the road. Fire crews from Ashford, New Romney, Lydd and Folkestone attended.
