Troubled automotive company put up for sale

A COMPANY where 400 jobs are in jeopardy is being put up for sale in tomorrow's Financial Times.

Automotive Precision Components, in Tonbridge, went into administration on Thursday night.

The company now running the firm says it only has enough money to keep it operating until the end of the month.

The administrators hope to cover costs until the end of January and already have holiday pay covered.

They say the short-term future is secure but after Christmas anything might happen.
