Staggering 192 per cent growth for plastering firm

HAIL Plastering Contractors (Stanmore), the county’s fastest-growing business.

The 48-year-old Welling-based company – about to move to Erith – topped the Kent and Medway MegaGrowth chart for the first time with a staggering 192 per cent four-year leap in sales.

Specialising in plastering and drylining, the business employs 550 people and had £21million turnover in 2004/05.

Managing director Raj Manak received a large framed certificate at the fifth annual awards ceremony in Turkey Mill, Maidstone.

After accepting the accolade from Geraldine Allinson, Kent Messenger Group chairman, Mr Manak put his firm’s success down to keeping clients happy at all times.
