A WHITSTABLE man has been banned from managing a business for three and a half years. Roy West, of Sand End, Thanet Way, Whitstable, has given an undertaking not to hold a directorship or take any part in company management after his plumbing business failed.

He was a director of Maritime Services (London) Ltd, which operated from premises in New Cross Gate, London. It was placed into voluntary liquidation on December 14 2000, with estimated debts of £102,960. Co-director Lee West, of Straightsmouth, Greenwich, has undertaken not to manage a company for seven and a half years.
