Meet the experts at IT show

THE latest advances in information technology will be revealed to businesses across North Kent at the county's largest technology exhibition. Now in it's third successful year, Make IT Work, will be a showcase for Kent's top ICT firms.

The event is organised by the Kent Technology Transfer Centre (KTTC) and is supported by Business Link Kent. It presents visitors with the opportunity to see all the latest advances in technology and save time and effort by finding local companies to meet their needs all under one roof.

There will also be workshops running throughout the day presenting visitors with information, as well as the chance to discuss the latest issues facing the ICT industry. Peter Parsons, KTTC's chief executive, said: "The exhibition has proved to be highly successful in previous years and this year we intend to enable even more firms to improve their competitiveness through the best use of technology."

He said: "Visitors will have the chance to meet the experts and make sure they choose the right product for their needs. That could be anything from computer software training, web design or ISP development to the supply and installation of presentation equipment - I think we have something for everyone this year."

The exhibition will take place at Darwin College, University of Kent, Canterbury, between 9.30am and 4pm on Thursday, April 11. It is free of charge, although pre-booking for workshops is advisable.
