Lesson on life after school

SIXTH form students at Maidstone Grammar School for Girls took a day off from their timetable to meet businessmen and women.

The annual Personal Development Day is a school initiative aimed at making the students think about how they present themselves, their skills and their knowledge when applying for higher education or for a job.

The dress code for the day, held at the school in Buckland Road on Tuesday was "smart business" and activities included communication exercises, mind mapping, CV writing and mock interviews.
