ONE of the UK's leading waste management companies is relocating its regional office to Kings Hill, near Maidstone.

Viridor Waste Management, which provides waste and recycling services to public and private sector customers, has agreed a 10-year term at 42 Kings Hill Avenue, the recently completed office building at the entrance to the business park.

The company will move in early next year.

Mike Hellings, Viridor's managing director, said: "We were looking for a location which suited a 21st century company with an appropriate image and Kings Hill provides that.

"We need access to the latest IT and telecoms infrastructure, which is difficult to achieve in older buildings."
