Law firm updates its image

ONE of Kent's oldest firms of solicitors has updated its image after two years of county-wide client expansion.

Gulland and Gulland, in Maidstone more than 100 years, has become Gullands from March.

With the new name comes a smart, modern logo, reflected on all stationery, brochures, advertising and office fascias.

Managing Partner, Blair Gulland, said: "Our marketing team has been busy for the past few months working on designs and their application, and the end result, we feel, reinforces our position as a highly-qualified, multi-faceted firm with a fast-growing, county-wide client list.

"We now have 11 partners supported by a team of qualified staff, including solicitors and legal executives, all of whom have worked hard to expand the influence of the firm throughout Kent and beyond," said Blair, who continues the Gulland family link established by his father and uncle.

With the development of the firm, led by the business law section, Gullands is now one of the main players in Kent, representing a range of businesses from sole-trading entrepreneurs and small family companies, to larger private and public companies, including utilities and national charities.

It is also one of the few legal firms offering a specialised construction and arbitration service.

Gullands has specialist departments dealing with residential conveyancing, wills and tax planning, individual and commercial disputes and family law.

"All go-ahead businesses review their image and its effectiveness at regular intervals," said Blair.

"We hope our existing clients will approve of this modernising process which is vital in order to maintain our position as one of the top legal firms in the county."
