LARRY WINGET is making a rare appearance in this country next month as the keynote speaker at Business Link Kent’s Complete Business Adive Day.

The self-styled 'pitbull of personal development' is flying in from America to deliver the speech at the event, being held at the Ramada Hotel, Maidstone, on April 5-6.

The author of the best-selling motivational book Shut Up, Stop Whining And Get A Life is a philosopher of success who believes he teaches principles that work for everyone.

He believes people have complicated life and business too much, take it too seriously and we need to keep it all in perspective.

Rarely heard outside of America, Larry has written more than a dozen books and has recorded many audio and video learning systems, including I’ll Try To Be Nicer If You’ll Try to Be Smarter.

Carole Black, BLK’s events manager, said: "Larry is one of the true characters in the personal/professional development industry.

"As an internationally recognised speaker and author, audiences of every type have enjoyed his humorous, thought-provoking, transformational style. You don't want to miss this rare opportunity to experience what he has to say."

The event’s other guest speaker is Kevin Morley, who gave up running the multi-billion pound Rover Group to become a multi-millionaire by starting his own advertising agency and growing it, in four years, into one of the largest in Europe.

The event is aimed at businesses that want to succeed and prosper, it is a free and a good opportunity to obtain excellent business advice and information in one place, at one time.

The same programme is repeated across each of the two days, giving business leaders the flexibility to book the time that suits them.
